It looks like you’re about 50/50, which is a little above the average acceptance rate of 45%. That’s really good for UMD. If you’re out of state, that’s going to make it more competitive to get in. Make sure you have a good list of affordable matches and safeties. Good luck! :slight_smile:

I expect you to be just fine with that GPA and SAT, even for Chem which is more competitive than some other majors. You are above the middle 50% for GPA and that accounts for most of the decision and you are within the middle 50% for SAT. I think you should have no problem. Good luck!
