I suppose I could have more ecs but I find that I have barely anytime because of all my current activities. High School Basketball also takes MUCH of my time as it's basically all year around. I'm also looking to intern somewhere in the medical field.

Any comments would be appreciated!

I think you'll get accepted. You have perfect grades (which is probably the most important factor), some of your SAT scores are great (math and science ones) and your ec's are really excellent. It really says a lot when someone does a time-consuming activity like sports and still get straight A's. You're not only a basketball player but a talented player and team captain. Leadership positions are really impressive. And you're in band too. That's another time-consuming activity. And community service, and other clubs too! You may be too great for admissions to pass up! What other schools are you applying to?

Oh and I forgot to add that I have been private tutoring two students for about two years. Originally I wanted to goto UCB or UCLA, however now that finance issues have been settled, I'm looking more into USC and Stanford. Thanks for the peace of mind.. I've been thinking that I was not nearly as qualified as my peers!

Just curious, did you play point guard?

Chance at Cal is pretty decent, but Stanford will be a reach and more dependent on your essays.
