<p>What are my chances at
Stanford
NYU
Columbia
Brown
Boston U
UMich</p>

<p>My GPA is 3.846 right now. I expect it to go up by the end of the year.
I'm in the top 5% at a public school. Most kids just go to community college, and since I've been there maybe 2-3 kids out of each graduating class has gone out of state.</p>

<p>I've taken the hardest courseload available at my school, all honors classes my freshman/sophomore year.</p>

<p>This year I'm taking
AP Chemistry
AP Gov
Advanced English 11
Economics
Analysis (pre-calc)
French III</p>

<p>next year I'm planning on taking
AP Bio
AP English Lit
Honors Physics
Calculus
AP US History
French IV online.</p>

<p>I'm taking my ACT in March and my SAT in June (or should I take that sooner? I haven't registered yet, so..)</p>

<p>I got a 26 composite on the ACT Plan Test and I got in the 90th percentile on the PSAT.</p>

<p>My ECs are um...okay, I guess.
Student Council 9, 10, 11, 12 (probably secretary next year)
Tutoring 11, 12
Part-time job at local grocery store 11,12
Marching band 9
Peers Who Care (peer counseling. this is my favorite EC and has definitely changed me. One of my essays will probably be about this) 11,12

<p>In BU unless you screw up big time. UMich the same. NYU depends on scores, but probably match. The rest are all reach.</p>

<p>Stanford will be very very difficult and unless you have an amazing essay, It'll be a big reach. </p>

<p>For Brown, it'll be reach, and Columbia will also be a reach.</p>
