Well there's nothing in particular that makes you particularly unique among Caltech applicants. Your grades are generally good, but your test scores on AP Calculus AB and SAT II Chemistry are rather worrisome. Your SAT I score also falls a good deal below the middle 50 % of admitted students. Your scores may have been freak occurrences. However, if you actually found the AP Calculus AB test to be difficult, I wouldn't recommend Caltech for you. You would need to take at least 5 terms of math at a far faster pace than an AP calc class.

Okay thank you very much!! I am very lazy when it comes to testing as you can probably tell. I barely show up to my AP study sessions and studying for SATs are oh so boring!=(

oh btw the ap calc test wasn't too bad i dominated the multiple choice but left a frq question blank because i didn't know how to do it =( i had like a brain fart...

Sorry, I don't think you'll make it. In perspective, you're competing against people who get near 800's on SAT subjects tests, take BC Calc in 9th grade, and participate in the USAMO.

It's not quite that bad. I think it's closer to 2:1 (I think percentage of females is just over 30% now). Our most two classes were 38 and 41% female off the top of my head (the class before that was like 28 hahaha my class).
