chance me

I have a 82 average with all honors classes and one AP course .
I am in/on : Basketball team
Cross Country Team
Chess Club
Art Club
leadership Council
and I also have done a lot of community service.

My SAT scores are not so great I got just under a 1000
, and is it true that Drexel really accepts 72 percent of there applicants ?

I think you'll get in.

rocketstar, it has consistently gotten harder every year for applicants to get into Drexel. everyone knows 10 to 15 years ago anyone could have gotten in. For instance, when I applied the essay was optional and nobody really did it. now i believe the essay is mandatory and the admissions process spends a lot of time going through them all. I'm not sure about those statistics, it might have been true at some point, but every year Drexel is inching closer towards the US News top 50 colleges. This is one of the reason they hand out so many big scholarships to students who would have gotten into top-notch eg: Ivy League schools.

Another point is what college you are applying to. For instance, the Engineering college is a lot harder to get into than the Business college (generally with a few exceptions). There are some programs at Drexel that are ranked among the top in the country which will be hard to get into and others that aren't.

Good luck!
