what are my chances please help!

i would either retake the sat I to get that math score up, or take the math I or math II subject test (and do well). as for your ECs, do you have a particular passion that can be shown through your activities? writing perhaps?

In my why columbia essay i highlighted my passion for writing and education because of job and internship in that field. Do you think rec from this professor will help? My other two teacher recs were from ap history and lit teachers and those should be very good. I'm sure my counselor rec was relatively generic unfortunately.

Also received national award for 200+ community service hours for tutoring students.

How good are my leadership positions/awards?

For my essay I wrote about tutoring students at work and for community service and how I learned more about myself than the students did from me- that I wanted to pursue a life time of english education.

Help!

i think you stand a chance. no one else is going to say anything more specific than that because they can't. you're competitive, that's all you're going to hear from any of us.
