WILL I BE ABLE TO GET IN FOR COMPUTER ENGINEERING?

Come on ppl!!

I would say that you have a good chance, but I don't know if Computer engineering is impacted

you are set

You're pretty much a perfect match considering your SAT is slightly higher than the average and your GPA is slightly lower.

those must have been a stressful 39 minutes, huh?

are you talking about my GPA?

no lol the time between your original post and your BUMP was 39 minutes.

you have no shot....without senior grades...

sounds like a bit of a reach to me but good luck :)

you are in! do not worry.

it looks like its going to be a bit of a reach but not too much

It's very difficult for me to give you a yes or a no. I had very similar stats to you applying out of high school, although with a bit better SAT score and I didn't get in. With that said, I felt like I should have gotten in so I feel you should get in.

The UC Board of Regents limiting enrollment will likely adversely affect you

Those stats are looking more like a slight reach/reach

You need to see how you stand by using the UCSD point system: UCSD Freshman Comprehensive Review Process (Dec 2004)

However, since you're going for engineering, which I believe is an impacted major, the cut-off may be higher than what it's estimated to be on that page.

:)
