Hi guys , FYI I'm a out of state applicant
here are my academic stats:

Math: 680
Writing 650
comp: 1960

AP Scores:
Chemistry: 4
US History: 4
English lang and Comp: 4

GPA: uw: 3.84
weighted: 4.48
7 ap classes throughout high school career ( 3 aps at school (physics c mech, gov and lit)1 self study this year)

Extracurriculars:
High school band: 3 years (section leader this year)
Earth club: 2 years (vp this year)
Math Club: 2 years (president this year)
Bible Club: 4 years (president this year)
National Honor Society (3 years)
State champion chess club: (2 years)

Essays I think are very well written. Thanks for your time and honesty :)

won’t my subject scores suffice if I do really well on them? I thought that UCLA’s middle 50% was around 1930 or so. Also sadly I don’t have another chance to retake my SAT’s. I’m retaking it in Jan. Any other comments? Other input would be appreciated :)

^ my classes for senior year includes:
Marching Band (I enjoy playing music)
Pre-Calculus H
Gov AP
Lit Ap
Physics C Mech. AP
open period (was going to fill it up with an ap class- didn’t want to take ap spanish)
self studying ap psychology (taking the test in may)
So technically, I am taking 4 APs this year.

Although your SAT’s aren’t outstanding, if you get 700+ on all sudjects that will be fine. UCLA is known for being unpredictable and i think essays are a very big factor in that. So if your essays are very well written then your chances are good. I’d say you have a 50% chance
