School Prefect.

What I find kind of cool about the MIT board is that we rarely chance people because it’s so hit-or-miss. All I can tell you is that your scores are “in range”. Really that’s all I can tell you because after you reach those mid 700’s +, MIT kind of just moves onto the other stuff on your application. They’re seeing who is a “perfect fit” for their school, not necessarily who has the better score because most kids applying have great scores anyhow.

Really the only time I said that a kid was a complete match was when an African American kid living in Arkansas had stellar scores and COMPLETELY exhausted all of his resources in his rural town that didn’t offer much. He exhausted his resources SO much that he would have been competitive if he had been an Asian male from a very competitive school.

To be quite honest, I do like your ECs a lot. Especially since a lot of your stuff has been recognized by the mass media, and you have traveled to faraway places to experience science. That will show if you show passion in your essays, which I assume you have if you’re applying to MIT LOL.

And another thing you may want to know is that international applicants have it WAY harder. I’m not trying to put you down, just brace yourself. AND GOOD LUCK! :-)

Right. The acceptance rate for internationals is like 4%

Yeah, the acceptance rate is really scary.

But I think you have a pretty good shot at MIT. :)
