Well, I've resisted the temptation to post on this forum for a while now, but it's time. Could you guys / gals please chance me? I know I'm in the range, but whatver.

I'm white, 6'8" with red hair; my parents went to McGill university undergrad and my father went to Harvard Business School for graduate study--> not that that would help me though to MIT :(

Test Scores

ACT: 33 (35 math, 34 science, cant remember the rest)

APs: I'm taking BC Calculus, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics this year.

Academics

My school doesn't rank except for in the top ten, and I'm not in the top ten. There are about 30 very smart people in my grade out of 100 (it's a very competitive private school).

HUGE passion for cars

I was a CIT during sophomore summer

I worked in Pfaffenhausen, Germany for Ruf Automobile GmbH this past summer<--definitely my most important "wow" factor (visit YouTube - Imaginations in CTR3)

Essays and Recommendations

Physics Rec: Had to have been good...this guy is cool and would never write an "okay" letter for someone, unless he or she was just "okay," which I don't think I am (and nor does he, or so I think).

Other Teacher Rec: English teacher...her's had to have been very, very good. She's a great writer and she LOVED having me in her class...she was a pretty cool teacher too :)

Last extra rec: From my employer, Ruf Autocentre--this was the best thing I've ever read. There wasn't a flaw in it and it was very, very persuasive I thought (I was able to read it after my boss wrote it).

Counselor Rec: Probably so-so.

Essays: My essays were very interesting. I can't really remember what I wrote about now, BUT I can definitely remember that I loved 'em.

Interview: Couldn't have gone any better. Seriously, my interviewer was awesome. We talked for about 1.5 hours!

Other comments: I got deferred EA, but I am very excited about tomorrow's decision! Who knows...I've come to the conclusion that if I do get in, I'll be ecstatic. If I don't get in, it's not the end of the world--90% of the applicants won't recieve a definitively positive decsion tomorrow, sorry. Good luck to us all! Eat some pi!
