CHANCE ME PLEASE!

I think you are definitely in for Davis and a match for SD.

i think youre in to wherever you want to be, given you have a decent personal statement. this is ucsd forum tho

Davis = Safety

SD = Target/in

when a good uc like davis is a safety, i hope you end up going exactly where you want to go

oh whoops! i wrote davis instead of SD haha

you will get into both, good luck

bump! i’d like more opinions :)

Hopefully you applied to UCLA and Berkeley. With strong personal statements you would be really competitive and have a solid shot of being admitted.

Davis and SD matches.

Great! Thanks a bunch

BUMPPPP

are my sat II’s high enough? i keep reading people on year with 780s and 800s and it makes me worried!

SAT IIs hardly matter

Wait, SAT II’s hardly count?!

Dude…why are you going for SD?

Aim for UCB and UCLA.

haha thanks guys… any more opinions?

i know numerous people who received low SAT II scores who made it in UCB + UCLA. you will be fine. I think its mainly your GPA and SAT I score that holds the most weight.

You should be in to Davis and in to SD as well. Your stats would probably get you into UCLA or UCB as well.

Dude don’t even worry about your SAT II scores, GPA/ACT or SAT is the big thing they’re looking for. I actually read that the UC’s aren’t going to require them anymore starting in 2012.

What major did u list for UCSD? If it’s impacted it’ll be a lot harder to get into.
If not, then I think you’re high match/low reach. ehhh. nah you’re high match

my SAT and SAT2 were lower than yours. I got in a few years ago

SAT2 = math2 - 600 and history 450
SAT = 1940

you should be fine. you got a good shot
