Chance please?

<p>I'm going to be a Senior at Homestead High in CA next year.</p>

<p>Here's what I have so far:</p>

<p>Top 10% of class probably (just an estimate as our school doesnt rank)</p>

<p>Classes ( minus TA and PE classes):</p>

<p>GPA for Sophomore year and Junior year: 3.6 unweighted, 4.3 weighted
AP classes:
Chinese
Chemistry
Calculus B/C
English (For next year)
Biology (For next year)
Statistics (For next year)</p>

<p>SAT: 2130 (best combined is 2160)
Math: 760
Crit. Reading: 650
Writing: 720 (11 essay)</p>

<p>SAT II:
Math IIC: 800
Biology-M: 750
Chemistry: 750-800 (projected, as scores aren't out yet)
Literature: 700 (projected, as scores aren't out yet)</p>

<p>EC:
AWANA Church Program for kids- volunteer since freshmen year-300 hours so far
Member of Math Club- since freshmen year
Treasurer of Envision Club- Since this year, and probably President next year
JV Swim team- Freshmen and Junior year, Varsity next year
Sensory Access Foundation- volunteer for a couple weeks over sophomore year summer</p>

<p>Next year:
Hoping to get in Science Bowl A Team, which got 2nd in nation 2 years ago and 6th this past year
possibly start a club</p>

<p>College Choices:
UC Berkeley
UC LA
UC SD
UC Davis (safety?)
Univ. Southern California
Rutger's NJ State</p>

<p>I think those schools are pretty realistic! Though maybe UCSD should be your safety; it’s easier than Davis. Good luck!</p>

Though I would have to disagree that UCSD is easier than UCD, seeing as how I got into Davis but rejected by San Diego. Both schools are a good safey though, good luck!</p>
