Chance Me!

I'm doing RD for Architecture.

Background: Female, Asian
School: Private, the best school in the province, Canada

GPA: 3.85 (I don't know if this is W or UW)
Rank: Our school doesn't do ranking but probably top 20%? (Our school is very competitive)
SATI: 660 CR 770 M 730 W
SATII: MathII 750 Physics, I'm taking it this month

Teacher Recs
- My counselor knows me really well. I think it's good.
- I had a quick look at the one from my art teacher, and it was really good.
- My Physics teacher actually showed me his, and it was good too.

Essay
- General: my counselor liked it alot, so I think it's good.
- Supplement: it was about architecture of course, specifically about an experience that truly got me into architecture

I am not a very strong math student and this worries me. My average mark for math is around high 80s to low 90s because I've taken Math Honors since gr.10 and again, my school's math classes are just.. amazingly difficult.

I'm more into Physics. Last year, I ended up with 98. For term 1 this year, I got 96. Does CMU like students who are stronger at Physics than Math?

In terms of Portfolio, I think mine is pretty good.

So, I was wondering, which factors does CMU focus on? Portfolio? School marks? SATs? Number of APs?

and it would be great if you could chance me!

Thanks in advance!

bump bump! :)

Once you enter college Physics the math gets a lot tougher. I know that high school Physics usually is based off of Trig, I know my school does…even in AP. So, if you’re looking into Physics at the college level, you’re going to have to be good at math.
