i think you have a better chance of getting into lsa than engineering because your act math score is very low

I did retake my ACT, dropped a point in my cumulative, but my math changed
English: 30
Math: 30
Reading: 26
Science: 25
Writing: 10
Composite: 28.

Would I be better off submitting that?

i would submit both; they will supposedly look at whichever one benefits you the most, as far as i know. keep in mind you don’t necessarily have to apply to engineering – you can major in computer science through lsa.

I can’t do LSA. I have too many personal issues with the LSA approach to CS.

I think you are a high match, so it could go either way given your ACT score (particularly in math). You seem to be really passionate about CS. Re-take in fall, along with the SAT, and see if you can’t raise those scores.

What exactly is a high match?

ummmmmmm…
why are you doing engineering and computer science with a 25 and a 30 on the ACT math… the ACT math tests essentials for college math…I think you should choose a new major…

Let’s see…
I’m passionate about Computer Engineering?
I’m damn good at it
I have trouble believing that one test can accurately convey one’s ability to learn
I’m doing something I like
I’ve been doing software design since I was in seventh grade

Edit: Forgot to mention that being the only high schooler in a Microsoft program centered around software development has helped fuel my passion. Just sayin’
I’ve been developing software at a professional level for a while now.
