Bump

UW admissions can seem pretty random, but it really-really all comes down to the essays. An adcom for UW bothell offered to proof read my essays (I applied to Seattle, she was trying to help me out because my situation is weird in the same way hers was when she applied). She told me they want to see that you understand how you fit into the world, how you react to adversity, and how you ‘think’. Your essays sound like they work really well for that, so assuming they were well written you have a good shot.
Your stats are good, nothing to worry about there, and you have many advanced courses. Though, I’ll note that they don’t consider class rank or weighted GPA.

You shouldn’t worry, but know that sometimes the admissions decisions seem really random.
