Chance my please for Peabody

Hi, I go to a pulic school in NJ. I'm Chinese and a female. I was just wondering on my chances if I applied regular decision. I love Vandy, especially their programs at Peabody. Thanks

SAT I Scores: 680 CR, 800M, 740 W
SAT II: 640 Bio (Freshman year) 720 US History

GPA: 4.33 Weighted. Don't know what it is unweighted but I've never gotten below an A- for all honors and AP classes?

I took AP US History and got a 5. I'm taking AP Psych, AP English, AP Spanish, AP AB Calc, and AP Chemistry this year.

E.C.: President of our school's Future Teachers Club, President of Culinary Arts Club, Captain of Mock Trial Team, Section leader in marching band, Environemntal awareness club (4 yrs), MUN (2 years), Literary magazine (senior editor), Peer leaders, bio club.

Honors: National Merit commended, national honors society, art honor society, and spanish honor society. 4th place in NJ science olympiad.

Volunteer: Went overseas over the summer to teach English in Taiwan to impoverished kids. Sponsored by Taiwan ministry of education. Volunteer at nursing home for last 2 years, help out at Chinese school.

Work: Work at SCORE! tutoring and such for past 2 years

God. You're in!

Full ride and a gift basket.

thanks for your imput, hope that's true lol. Are the stats for peabody different from that of the college of arts and sciences? And is the acceptance rate different?

Slightly, it's not really easier as much as it is different; aside from your stats being decent what wins you the big prize are your state residency and minority status. Asians make up 7% of the population here (and far less in Peabody) and Southern states send a far higher number of students per capita than others, and obviously given the percentages found at peer institutions, things gots tah change.

alright, thanks!
