High School GPA: 3.2. Took one AP (Art, 4), some honors in languages and math. Had a decent amount of ECs in arts and technology. Did varsity athletics. SAT/ACT: 1960(SS)/28.

College GPA: 3.4. Film major. I only completed 15 credits, and withdrew from all my classes second semester due to a medical leave. I attend Syracuse University in Central NY. I am currently planning on completing one more semester as an Information Management and Technology major, and transferring to a different college in the spring, if not, Fall 2014. I'm a VP to the film club, and I have a work-study position.

Hooks: I'm not sure if this is a hook or not, but I have struggled with severe anxiety and depression for most of my life, and had some unorthodox issues in my upbringing. I'm also Asian and a woman.

I'd like to transfer back to Southern California for financial, social, and familial/medical reasons. I'm not huge into the frat/party scene, and the school can get a might bit corporate for my taste. My first choice is Occidental College (Media Studies and/or Comp Sci), then University of Southern California (I know it'll be pretty much like SU, but I should be fine since I'm very familiar with the area). CSUs and UCs only take standing juniors, and I'd much rather have the 4-year college environment.

Other choices were going to school in Toronto (Ryerson, York, Sheridan), around the east coast, like schools in the Hudson Valley (Bard, SLC, SUNY Purchase), Fordham, University of Rochester, Emerson, or Northern California like USF.
