Chance of getting Columbia GS as a transfer

I’m a Korean student studied in the US, just for college education.

Now thinking of transfer to Columbia GS, and just want to know what my chance is.

I went to Rutgers for 2 years with 3.5 GPA majoring finance, then came back to South Korea for mandatory military service of 2 years.

In between college years and start of military service.

I have some extracurricular activities (finance club, triathlon club both in school, New York Society of Security Analysts Scholarship) and work experiences (3 month internship in NY based hedge fund, 3 months in South Korea’s McKinsey’s office, 4 months in Korea-based hedge fund in Seoul).

Thinking of writing good admission essay and getting good quality recommendation letters, how do you think of my chance?

Thank you.

I think you have a very attractive story/background. However, I think your GPA is a bit low for GS. They expect at least a 3.7 GPA.
