Chance of getting into Deerfield/NMH

I go to a big public high school(9th grade currently, applying for 10th),
and I am applying to Deerfield and NMH this year,
and since I have no information/connection with boarding schools,
I am not sure if I even have a chacne.
so chance me plzzz TT

I got overall 97% SSAT percentile
(99% Math, 95% Reading, 93% Verbal)

one B in 7th grade, and another in 8th (English),
but I think they might let this slide since I came to the U.S. in 6th grade.

I was the vice captain of the school soccer team.
I was the 07-08 season MVP in school basketball team.
I play tennis and track as well, and got a leadership award in tennis this season.
I was also the vice captain of my church soccer team,
and I volunteered in homeless feeding program through my church.
And I started tutoring one middle school student this year.

Do I have a chance?

I think based on your grades you have a great chance but your EC's aren't as good as most others. In addition to sports, which will help, you might want to have some EC's that better yourself like an instrument or a math club or something and not just others (even though charity is great).
Are you asian? If so it'll make you chances slightly slimmer as will needing financial aid.

You have more than enough ec's and sports. Any more than that is pure padding and they know it. There are only 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. Depth not breadth, but you have oodles of both. From this vantage point, and with the precious little that I know about you, you look like a great candidate for any school. Good luck.

I think you have a very good chance at nmh. But, I am not sure about Deerfield, your grades are fine, but I agree about the ec’s. Why are you only looking at those two? Maybe look at a few more. What are you looking for? Maybe look at Milton?

Would you mine chancind me?

srry, I meant chance me
