Hello, all. I am attending the University of Kentucky and majoring in accounting. I am in the Global Scholars Program and will spend a semester in Switzerland interning for a firm. Also, I am in a fraternity. With this, a 170 LSAT score, and a 3.8 GPA... is this enough for a T14? I know I can look at averages and all that of previous classes, but I also realize UK is not a top school. Does this hurt me and by how much? I appreciate any help, and thank you in advance.

Have you already scored the 170, or are you hypothesizing?

Using your numbers, lawschoolpredictorDOTcom predicts an admit at Cornell, a “strong consider” at 5 other schools in the T14, a consider at another 6. and denials at Yale and Harvard. So yes, you would have a chance if these are the actual numbers you’ll apply with. The LSAT and GPA are more important factors than the undergrad institution, major, and ECs.

I can personally guarantee you admittance into at least two t-14s with your numbers. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever that you went to the University of Kentucky. Congratulations on your grand achievement.
