Hey all,
So I am at UMBC now and applied to transfer to college park, the earlier application deadline. My high school GPA was awful, like a 2.95 unweighted, and I really decided to step my game up after I got accepted to UMBC, but I still had to send my HS transcript and ACT score of 27. My GPA is like a 3.3 as of now, but College Park wants me to send my Spring grades too (probably because my English class is in progress). However, I'm taking a history class I didn't need, I took it because I like history, and I ended up somehow failing a test 30% of my grade and can now get no higher then a C in the class. Even if I ace the exam, which I probably will, I will still have a C in it. I expect to have an A in English, an A in Econ, and a B in Finite Mathematics, but a C is this damn History 100 class. I've had my heart set on College Park and the fact that one test may have changed my chance has practically destroyed me emotionally. Will a C on my transcript from UMBC screw me over?
Thanks so much in advance and thanks for reading,
Alex
