Chance of University of Michigan Engineering and/or LSA?

<p>Hi, I'll be applying to the University of Michigan (out-of-state) and I wanted to know what my chances are of getting into the College of Engineering and College of LS&A.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.88 (With improvement during junior year and freshman and sophomore being very similar)
Weighted GPA: 4.83
Class Rank: Top 1%</p>

<p>SAT I single sitting: 800 Math, 710 Reading, 700 Writing
SAT II's: 800 Math II, 770 Chemistry
10 APs after Senior year: Biology, Chemistry, Calc BC, Language & Comp., Psychology, Physics C, Economics, Government & Politics, Spanish, Literature
AP Tests taken so far: Bio-5, Chem-5, Calc BC - 5, Language & Comp.-4, Psych-5</p>

<p>Your stats are in the mid-50s range. Avg GPA is 3.85 and mid 50 SAT is 2030-2250. You definitely have a chance, but it isn’t a match. I’d say you have a better chance for LSA than Engineering. Your EC are average at the most and i’m not sure what you mean by ‘honors society’. Work hard on your essays and bump up your stats and you’ll stand a better chance.</p>

<p>Match for LSA but high match (perhaps low reach) for CoE for oos. Engineering has higher admission state. Average GPA was 3.9 in 2012 and the mid 50 SAT should be 50-100 points higher.</p>
