I need to know a few more things.

What major?
What’s your math and verbal SAT score? Reading does not count for CSUs.

Last year’s freshman class had a average 3.4 gpa and about a 1060 math/ verbal SAT, but as you can read in the other “heard from cal poly pomona yet” thread, this year was a totally different story, and it was a lot tougher. We’ll have to wait for the latest stats to accurately judge your chances but don’t expect it to get any easier.

@ mrslenore: You’re wrong man, this year was a lot easier… all those late acceptances… Everyone at my orientation had like 2.5-2.8 gpas… with like under 1600 SAT…

blackmama,

I sure hope you’re wrong or had the a worse than average orientation group. But if you’re right, CPP administrators will have some splainin’ to do. This year was their perfect chance to up the admit requirements. We’ll have to wait and see what the stats are this year.

SATs should be out of 1600 (not 2400) as only math and writing count towards admission. What’s your major.
