I think Columbia is my first choice if I get in, but I am doing regular decision, so I have a long wait. Here's my stats:

SAT:
2240 (superscore)
690 Math
760 Critical Reading
790 Writing, 10 essay

SAT II's:
640 Literature
650 US History
690 Math II

AP Scores: (Scholar with Distinction Award)
3 Chemistry & US History
4 European History & English Language Comp
5 Psychology

I'm 2nd in a class of 200+, and have a GPA at 101.1 out of 100. I'm in 4 AP classes this year (so I will have taken 9 when I graduate). I'm not really worried about my extracurricular activities because I do a lot, so my application is strong there. I wish I had more time to take the subject tests, because I know the scores are low. I didn't really have time to study for them, so I have to deal with what I got. Hopefully my other scores and grades make up for them. What do you think?????

Your GPA is strong, and your course rigor is good, but not great, and your SAT scores are pretty good.

Nothing I see above stands out to me, such as having 10+ ap exams and some honors/awards, so I’m going to say that Columbia is a high reach for you, unless you have some outstanding EC’s

Thank you for replying. In terms of my own school, I have taken the most challenging schedule possible (students can only begin to take AP classes sophmore year, and they can only take 2 that year). I’ve received probably 7 academic awards, including the Dartmouth Book Award, and I am captain of the tennis team. I’m VP of my school’s National Honors Society, and I’m a member of several clubs (Spanish, book, etc.) and programs (like 5 academic and volunteer programs). I should’ve written this stuff above haha. Thanks for your feedback!

Your extracurriculars do seem to be good. They will make up for your less-than-stellar (in Columbia’s eyes) SAT Subject Tests. Good chance, I say.
