So, I was wondering:

a.) What are my chances of being admitted to BC?
b.) What can I do to improve my chances of being admitted to BC?

you are probably comparable to the typical BC student (and it’s a plus being from a jesuit school), but remember, over 30,000 kids are applying for ~2300 spots. Do something that will really separate yourself and ur in!

Okay thanks, anyone else?

Is your GPA of 3.5 weighted or unweighted? Have you taken the most rigorous course load available at your school – with many honors and AP classes?

The best predictor of your getting into BC would be the experience of other students at your own high school. Since it is a Jesuit high school on the East Coast, I assume that several seniors apply to BC each year. Do most of the students with a 3.5 GPA get admitted to BC? Check with your guidance counselor or look at the Naviance scattergrams (if your school uses Naviance).

We do use Naviance, and the GPA is the only one reported by our school. Although the average accepted GPA is very high, there is a decent number of students admitted in the 3.5-3.7 range. But, I am most definitely considering BC a huge reach.

bumpbumpbump

there’s not much you can do now to improve your chances just try to write great essays and you’ll have a decent shot in getting in

I wish I had a long list of EC’s like you haha
and I would try and get the test scores up. Review for the SAT and aim for 1400/2100
