Do I have any chance?

- 28 ACT

EC's:
- Member of Young Republicans
- Member of German National Honors Society
- Junior Ambassador at my school
- Member of Model UN
- Student Senator
- Volunteered over 70 hours helping coach a youth football team at local Rec. Council

(can't find a job thus far this summer!!! economy!!!)

I have a very keen interest in international relations, with a concentration in German. Will coming from a Jesuit HS help my chances at all? Finally, what would you suggest doing in the next year and a half to boost my chances of being admitted to Georgetown?

any feedback would be greatly appreciated

You’ve got good ECs, but definitely try raising your ACT score a few points, and improving your GPA. Is that weighted/unweighted, and what is the GPA scale at your school? Also, are you taking challenging courses?

I don’t know specifics for Georgetown, I’m applying there also, but you’ll need those things in general for admission there.

Low GPA and ACT for Georgetown.
