Hi all, I'm currently a freshman in Indiana and received some booklets from Andover and Exeter because of some math competition results. I'm wondering if it's worth it at all to begin the application process.

Grades:
4.0 in 6th, and 7th grades. 4.3 weighted (Honors Bio + Honors Alg 2) in 8th grade, 4.0 unweighted.

Currently at a 4.6 weighted (Honors Precalc, AP Chem, Wind Symphony I, and AP World History), 4.0 unweighted and I don't expect that to change.

Taking French as an elective; slightly proficient as I've been to France. Pretty fluent in Chinese.

ECs:
USAJMO Qualifier. 9 on AIME, 135 on AMC 10 for index of 225.

Middle School DOE National Science Bowl CHAMPIONS, 2013, Captain.

Clarinet: ISSMA State Gold Rating, member of Creekside's Wind Symphony in 8th grade (accepted into Midwest Clinic as one of four performance groupos)

Piano: Won a couple regional competitions and earned a few hundred bucks but I don't believe I can find any official stuff about it, so probably moot. Played for 7 years.

Member, FCCLA (Family Carreer and Community Leaders of America)

NJHS and Tri-M member in middle school.

Carson Scholarships Award Winner (2011)

Recreational soccer, but I believe I can play on the level of a high school team. I was cut from our school's team, but my school's freshman team hasn't lost in like 8 years and had like a 60-5 goal difference last year. :/ So I think I could play soccer at Andover/Exter. Maybe.

Other things about me:
Lived in China for 2 years as an expat at an international school, had some valuable experiences with moving out of country

SAT scores last time (8th grade): 2210, first time.

If it counts for anything, I have a certificate of Accomplishment with Distinction from taking Dr. Keith Devlin's Introduction to Mathematical Thinking on Stanford's Coursera website. Long shot, but maybe it counts for something.
