Basically, I've resigned myself to the fact that junior year has not gone as well as I had hoped it would. However, I really would like to know what my chances are at somewhere like Northwestern (a big reach for me). My parents are hinting at touring Penn (I live in central PA) but, I think they are pretty disillusioned and have no idea what I'd be up against.

SATs: 2110
This is with absolutely no studying on my first try. I take them again on Saturday and have been studying for math because I would love to break 700.
M:640 CR: 780 W: 710

GPA: Last year: 4.0, It's probably about 3.9 after Pre-Calc this year.
I've been in the top 5% these past years, but may be in the top 10% now.

EC: Student Council (Class President, will be Student Council President), NHS, NAHS, Project Harmony, SADD, Model UN, School Newspaper (Features Editor this year, I will most likely be Editor-In-Chief next year), JV tennis, tech director for drama club (I've done lighting and sound for every play and musical since my freshman year)

Volunteering: Habitat for Humanity, local retirement home (100+ hours, weekly for several years), youth tennis camps, youth coordinator for the Obama campaign during the PA primary, youngest team captain on primary day

Other: I've written four novels and a slew of short stories. Any writing competitions I could enter that might help my application? I love writing though and am actually excited to write admissions essays.

Also, I'm attending the PA Governor's School of the Arts for Creative Writing (Fiction). This is fairly prestigious. They only take 10 students from the state for my particular program.

So, what do you think? Should I even daydream about ivy leagues or U of Chicago, Northwestern, etc.? I was thinking maybe American or Bucknell might be more within my reach.
