<p>yes i agree with aspen d. from what i've been told they look at the test scores that "shed the most appealing light on your application" or something like that...</p>
<p>they look at scores to see your ability, so they will choose the highest since they believe you must be at least at that ability. grades are different. they dont just want to see you can get an A, but that you consistently get great grades.</p>
<p>It means that your scores do not lessen the quality of your application. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have a good chance. On a more positive note, it doesn't mean you have a poor chance either :)</p>
<p>Your SAT scores are very strong. You should focus on the other aspects of the application (e.g., essays) now. I think you have a pretty good chance.</p>
