I’m a high school junior in Florida, and UF is my top choice school. I believe my credentials are fairly good for a state school, I just don’t know if they will be enough.
I am an IB diploma candidate, with a 4.21 weighted GPA (3.75 unweighted). I have never gotten anything below a B, and only ever had 2 B’s per semester. My SAT scores are 1770 as of right now, and 26 ACT. I have taken AP Human Geo, which I scored a 4 on, and AP microeconomics, which I scored a 3. I have already taken IB psychology and IB calculus, and will get my scores in July. Next year my class load will be 5 IB classes, AP calculus, and an internship at the local credit union. I am in 9 clubs, with leadership roles in 3. Is this enough?
ALMOST everything is great…with the exception of your tests scores. Your SAT and ACT scores are really the bottom 25% of applicants to UF. I would recommend getting SAT up to at least 1800 and ACT up to at least 27. You have time, either take June test or take them in the fall. Otherwise, you seem like a perfect applicant.
