My family also has a few important connections with the school, so would that help in any way? I am also a desendent and relative of both George Washington and Robert E. Lee, would that also help? Thank you so much!!

Very good. The school has made it quite clear that they are looking for ambitious women, and you seem to fit the bill. Good luck!

If you’re that heavily connected, there’s a slim chance that you wouldn’t be accepted.

Thank you so much to both of you for your input!!

Hi again! Just a few other questions. I will be taking a course over the summer at Columbia University for college prep and recieve college credit. Will this help me? Also, does it help that all the classes I take are honors classes versus regular classes? And lastly, I emailed a coach there as a prospective player and he never emailed back. Is this just becuase he never got it or becuase they were busy, or is he unintrested? Ive asked my college counsler and she said to go ahead and email him once more and then if no response, send a letter. What are your thoughts? Thank you!!!

It’s good that you look like you are challenging yourself, but the biggest plus of the summer course will probably be if you get credits for the class and can skip some of the intro classes here, or fulfill an FDR. Usually the coaches respond well to emails - try visiting campus and talking to them then.
