Chance

I've recently began my college application process and my dream (reach) school is NYU. In applying I'd love to get into Stern but I doubt that will happen but I've read a lot about people applying to other schools and transferring internally ? Or maybe applying to Gallatin and taking business course from there? I'd greatly appreciate it.

APs: US HIST - 4 , English Lit , Psychology, Studio Art
SAT: 1730 (retaking again to hopefully get a 1900)
GPA (as of the end of junior yr)- 89.67 ? -> plan to have a GPA of a 90 something by the end of the first semester of senior yr when ill be submitting my application.

Have a wide variety of ECs and a lot of them. Will take on an internship next summer, more than 500 community service hours, do believe (??) my essay and recommendation will help since it is the chair person of the History department in my school writing a letter for me whom I've done exceptionally well in her class taking two APs.

I am also of mixed race (black and white) and even though I do not even feel comfortable even mentioning that as a factor for admission I mention it because I know that it commonly can be.

Should I apply to Gallatin (or another suggested school within NYU) and transfer or apply to Stern and hope for the best?

NYU Stern: High reach
NYU Gallatin: Aim for 1950+/28+

NYU: reach
