ECs
Varsity golf since ninth grade ( captain since 10th)
National honor society
(Extremely involved with food drives and fundraisers)
3 other subject national honor society
Also had a job every year of highshool worked almost 20 hours a week every week 9-12.
I know weak ECs but I did have a job and it was necessary that I worked.
Have others but they're small things like AP scholar with honors and other volunteer stuff
Possible other things : First generation, Essay was one of the strongest things on application, Recs were good..... My teachers letter was probably outstanding but I don't even know my GC.

I know my ACT is pretty bad.... Sucks they don't superscore cause I would have a 30. When I visited and talked to the admissions rep she said they don't get a new composite but they will see all subscores so I sent my two 28s that if superscored would be 29 which is still low but whatever.

I'm so nervous since my FA thing has not changed yet. Although I did see on an old thread that people didn't have a change even after they were accepted.
I believe if yours did change your in good shape but just because yours doesn't mean your rejected ( not just saying this because mine hasn't) check the thread pinkpurple linked on ED thread

Hey - I think that you do have a pretty good shot. Your stats are average - I’d consider taking the SAT though. I took the ACT and got like…high 20s, but did much better comparatively on the SAT for some reason. They are very different tests and some people do better on one of them.

You have competent numbers and your EC’s are absolutely NOT weak! And glowing essays are a plus. I smell good news for you, and don’t worry about the Albert mechugas.

Lol Albert mechugas… Made me laugh

I wonder if I could get LSPed? I wouldn’t mind that much if what I’ve about it is true.

Heard

Char

You’re looking good…not a bad candidate at all. Your EC’s are strong and if your essay is as awesome as you portray it to be then I’m sure you’ll be fine! Don’t stress over the FA message…we really have no idea what it means. You’re def in the right range for NYU.

Good chance at CAS! Don’t worry much! Chance me back on my thread?:)
