<p>Your GPA should be strong enough. The SAT is borderline, but the rest is well above what you need, so I like your chances. I doubt anyone will bother to read 5 letters of rec at LSU, so pick your 1 or 2 best ones.</p>

<p>As it stands now, you will receive the Bengal Legacy, which is 75% off non-resident fee because your father went there. You will also probably receive a leadership scholarship, but that isn't worth much, just a $1000.</p>
<p>That should make LSU fairly reasonable, a bit more than if you stayed in-state, but not much.</p>
<p>well, i got my acceptance letter within a wk, but that' b/c i applied really early like in july. some of my friends didn't apply until november ,and they had to wait about 2 1/2 wks.</p>
<p>Really? Strange. I guess it means they are still undecided and want to see if you're slacking your senior year, which you obviously are not. That must mean you're in considering you're doing well. </p>
<p>I think if you were in-state, you would be a lock, but they are a bit more selective out of state.</p>
