Chances

Hello everyone.
I'm new, and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the chances of getting into LSU would be for me.

ACT- 28
(This is based on a pre-ACT test called the PLAN, which is administered by my school. I just took the ACT over the weekend, and if my scores are good, I won't take them again. But, if not, I'll take it again in June.)

SAT-1720
Math: 520
Critical Reading: 580
Writing: 620
(These were from my first ever SAT in March, which I took without any prep at all. I'm taking them again in June, after months of preparation. So, hopefully, my scores will go up.)

Unweighted GPA: 3.4
Weighted: Something like a 3.7/3.8

EC's: 3

All honors and AP Classes since freshman year.

*Also, I'm out-of-state. I'm from New York. Not sure how that will affect my chances, or anything, but just saying.

I'm also looking into majoring in pre veterinary medicine or biology.
Thanks

With your stats you have an excellent chance of being accepted. In fact, if you do score a 28 or higher on the ACT, you will be eligible for the following scholarship:

Tiger Excellence Scholars Award

Criteria: ACT score of 28 to 29 or a critical reading and math SAT score of 1250 to 1320 AND a 3.0 cumulative computed, six semester high school GPA.

Award: $5000 per year

My daughter is OOS from NJ.

Good luck and Geaux Tigers!
