[ *] Essays: Pretty sure they were good. If anyone would like to read them, I'd appreciate the input.
[ *] Teacher Recs: Had Two: One I know was stellar (she let me read it), the other I'm pretty sure was very good.
[ *] Counselor Rec: Amazing. She absolutely adores me and is an alumus of UofM herself.
[ *] Hook (legacy, recruited athlete, etc.): In-State. Apparently both my school and county are underrepresented as well...But that is an unconfirmed rumor.
[ *] State or Country: MI
[ *] School Type: Small Public
[ *] Ethnicity: White
[ *] Gender: Female
[ *] major strength/weakness: Strengths- I would like to think I'm a fairly good writer. Also, my GPA and ACT fall into the averages for LSA. I applied EA about a month ago.
Weaknesses- My school is extremely small (i.e. Offers barely any competitive classes) and my class rank isn't the best.
[ *] Other Factors/questions: UofM is my first choice school and I made that extremely clear in my essay. Also, I'm not sure if this will affect their decision or not, but I'm only sixteen at the moment and will be next fall when I leave for college. I started Kindergarten early and skipped a grade in middle school.

Any Opinions Appreciated. :)

im in same boat except 3.75 and 32 and dec ecz i think that ull either be a low reach or a match. good luck u never know

I think you are in. You have good ECs and you fall into the LSA range for grades, plus you are IS. If you don’t get accepted I would believe it to be because of the competitiveness of your school.

thekidizback- I took the ACT twice and got the same score both times, but my subject scores were kind of switched. My strong point is English, and when I took is the first time I got a 31 and 32 in reading and English, but a 25 in math. I retook it after studying fairly hard for the math section. I pulled off a 30 in math and a 29 in science, but my reading and English went down to a 27 and 28. =/ If I were able to superscore I’d have a 31.

MLDWoody- Thanks. Yeah, our school is absoutely awful when it comes to
competitiveness. They offer three AP’s but the most one can take is two, and you can’t take any until your senior year. I think the average ACT score for our school is around a twenty, so hopefully they see that and I look better in comparison. I just don’t want to be waitlisted. =/

Dude, it’s less than a month till decisions come out. I know you just want the piece of mind of people telling you, “Oh yeah sure, you’re totally in!”, but there’s nothing you can do now so stop analyzing your chances. Just kick back and relax.

@op they dont superscore though, if that were the case id have a 34

Yeah, I know they don’t superscore. I can always wish though haha.
I know a girl who’s highest composite was a 26, but she’s allowed to superscore and has a 30.
