<p>it looks like the notification does go out in two weeks as per my S. Anyways, he withdrew his application last week itself instead of waiting on the results (so one less competition now 67 instead of 68! ) and accepted his scholarship offer at UOfM LSA Honors which is closer to home and his first choice.</p>

<p>Anyone curious about engineering at Pitt-- I will also throw in my offer for PMs. I wasn’t Chancellors but knew/know some now and did have full tuition when I graduated.</p>
<p>D had chancellor scholarship interview this past Monday. Got her letter today, Good (how about BEST ever) Friday awarding the chancellor scholarship. This was after the Honors College accepted students day the previous Friday. We are from Central PA and made the trip out for a long weekend, we had never spent time in Oakland. We had a great time the entire weekend. Monday, D monitored a class in the Cathedral before the interview which ran right into meeting student, a gift of a book, the dean, etc. I would like have my D to post stats. Now that the experience is over, she might be convinced. Hail to Pitt!</p>

<p>FlyMe - Tried to get wife or D herself to reply with exact details. No luck, sorry. It is an English undergrad, in Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. Always a good student, passionate about literature and has eye her on graduate work, at this time anyway, we’ll see what the next few years bring.</p>

My daughters both interviewed about ten days ago. They both received overnight UPS letters today. They look very thin. Did anyone who interviewed for, but was not offered the scholarship, get a notice via overnight mail? Seems odd they would use overnight mail to tell someone they didn’t get it. Of course I can’t open it, but trying to figure out what the likelihood is that they got it.
No experience but it sounds promising! Let us know!!
When are/were finalists supposed to be notified by for an interview. My daughter still hasn’t heard either way.
