<p>Does anyone know if the committee reviews your common app and associated letters of recommendation for the Chancellors's Scholarship? One of my DD's letters submitted with her entrance application would be perfect as the letter requested to accompany the Chancellor's Scholarship application. We are trying to figure out if she needs a different person to write a different letter or if she can submit a letter that was already submitted with her Common App.</p>
<p>Highly recommend a specific letter for this specific opportunity altho I don’t know if this is a required aspect to the letter. Please assume that all applicants to Vandy have their usual letters of reference. A scholarship with a 1% selection rate “rates” another reference for the committee to use. Son asked for a letter of reference (sheepishly) this time five years ago, and the saintly, weary, busy teacher obliged. I was actually embarrassed that he was asking so late, I recall. </p>
