<p>hey guys im a hispanic junior and im trying to see if i have the stats that could possibly lead up to an acceptance to the colleges at bottom...just evaulate thanks</p>

<p>first of all my school is ranked 115 among all public schools in nation...wealthy suburb</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT: 2150-2250
SAT IIs: ive only taken math 2- 750...gonna take chem and us history at the end of the school year- Expecting a range on both from 750-800
GPA: 3.8 uw
Rank: don't rank... extremely competitive school in long island,ny</p>

<p>Currently taking 2 AP's/3 honors and will take 5/6 AP's or so next year (calc ab, macro/micro,physics, english)</p>

<p>All honors classes 11th and 12th , made honor roll all of 10th,11th, and most likely 12</p>

<p>Going to be taking the AMC12 in january or so...im really not sure how im gonna do because i dont really know about the AMC but my school invited me to take the test ...so im expecting to do okay

President of the Astronomy Club ( conducted astronomy night at my school, conduct observing sessions every other week)
Secretary of Model Congress ( competed 2 years at Yale Model Congress, 1 year Harvard, 1 year UPenn.)
4 year member of mathletes
Website club
200-250 hours volunteering at LIJ Medical Center
Currently working as administrative assistant at New Age Skin Research Foundation
Attended Johns Hopkins CTY 9th grade
Attended Cornell University Summer College 10th grade
Going to attend one of the following: Caltech YESS program, Columbia Summer program, or Garcia Research summer program at Polytechnic in New York
Master Guide of Seventh Day Adventist "Pathfinders" organization, kind of like a huge youth organization for my denomination.Master guide is the highest rank you can achieve.
Heavy heavy involvement in church activities/drill sargeant of drill team.</p>

<p>Other Factors:Im pretty sure im gonna get either National Merit Finalist/semifinalist, also Nationa Hispanic Scholar, Parents are both immigrants: dad from Egypt, Mom from Peru. im gonna say extremely humble beginnings but im not exactly sure if thats a factor in admissions.

<p>yo bobby i seroiusly apologize but on my posts people ususaly go on like tangents and never give me chances on the schools i ask for...like right there^^^^...just this is the last one...if the person reading this is gonna post something i just as you to give me chances on these schools and thats it...</p>

<p>even though you said you are going to have an extremely humble beginning (I assume that's on your essay), I don't see how you are being humble here at all. Please don't expect people to give you answer with that altitude......
After all, yes, you are really academically competitive....so what? you probably already have your answer in mind. Just do the best you can and apply.</p>

<p>jovil i swear to god i dont mean to be pompous at all...i just want to know my chances without people going on on random tangents on my threads...and if you do thats fine all i ask is for the chances and then you say whatever you want... i dont mean at all to have a bad attitude</p>

<p>You don't have an SATI and your range is big, only one SATII and not even an aprox. rank. Even if your school doesn't rank, colleges will assign you one.</p>

<p>How can we tell you anything? Most applications will ask where your parents are from and then you may or may not get a URM boost. But not a big one because you're affluent and from a good school.</p>

<p>So what can we say? If it's a 2150, don't count on HCCSV. A 2250 would give you a small chance at the forementioned and a good shot at JHU, Cornell and Chicago.</p>
