chances @ a motley group of schools

Ok, so I'm finally done with the SATs, but not the SAT II, so lets see what others think my chances are at a bunch of different schools as a business major.

GPA
frosh-92.75
soph-94.4
junior-95.25

All classes are considered honors level, but unfortunately my school does not offer any APs. I took all the thoughest courses for senior year, which is advanced physics and statistics in addition to calc.

ECs are decent
Editor of sports section of school paper
Taken classes soph and junior year for cisco ccna certification I plan to take in a few weeks
Basketball frosh year, baseball for a traveling team frosh and soph year
NHS member junior/senior year
I tutor homeless and abused kids once a week for 1.5 hours Junior/Senior year.

Work experience
2 summers working 40 hours a week for the Army in a business management office.

SAT scores (best in one sitting was with 680 W)
740 CR
730 M
690 W

SAT II
770 US History
680 Math II (retaking)

Schools applying to: Stanford SCEA, Pepperdine, UCLA (first choice), USC (Marshall), UVA, NYU (Stern), Cornell (hotel), Rutgers (NJ resident, and legacy). What are my chances? How about scholarships at any of them?

UCLA out of state is the same price at Stanford, for the $40K, I think Stanford is the better deal.

Give us your class rank for a realistic opinion.

My school doesn't rank. I just like southern california a lot better, that is where I'd like to live when I graduate. I'm hoping somehow I get a scholarship there if I get in, or can manage to get instate tuition my final 2 years or something.

There is no legal way to get in state tuition for any portion of undergrad, and fin aid is very limited for oos students.

any opinions on my chances?

pepperdine has an extremely low acceptance rate. i want to attend buht i
m not sure if i
m gonna make it. you
ll make it into Pepperdine. If you want business, NYU is the place! Stern is an elite business school. Also, BU isn
t bad. you would definately qualify for the Trustee Scholarship at BU. It pays for full tuition.

pepperdine isnt as difficult to get into than, say, all his choices minus rutgers. pepperdine would like your community service and non-consecutive years of athletics, but where is your christian formation? you cant party with the ghosts of the mowry sisters if you dont have sunday school teacher on your resum

thanks guys, but what about UCLA, Stanford, USC, Cornell, UVA?

I like the location of Pepperdine, and I figure it could possibly result in a scholarship. I'm not even Christian, and in fact, I really don't like religion at all, so that is one minus.

I agree my activities aren't all that great. I would have played sports all 4 years except I go to a specialty school, and it was difficult to travel back to my hometown to play sports. I'd say my biggest plus is the tutoring and CCNA, which if anyone has taken it, its extremely difficult.

Stern would be a great choice if it wasn't for the extremely high cost, and the fact it doesn't have a campus. I want the true college experience, and I'm also a big sports fan (both intermural, and watching varsity), so NYU is definitely lacking in that department. The other schools I mentioned are all much bigger on athletics and school spirit.

dodgerblue:

UCLA: Reach (out of state)
Stanford: Reach
USC: Match
Pepperdine: Safety

stern is like one of the top business schools. i still suggest BU School of Management.
