i don't want to exaggerate, but we've had about five hours of reading a day, and we're talking about dull reading.
By the way, I don't want to accuse you guys of anything, but today we received a burnt lamb in the mail along with a poorly written letter addressed to Wash U. Undoubtedly it was funny, but is this a mistake or a declaration of war?
I assure you that we have our own plans cooking up and to watch out, lol.
All I know about Cornell is that they've broken contact with us and potentially everyone else. What's happening there?

You know, we really shouldn't be discussing TASP secrets on the internet like this. my e-mail is pianoking7@comcast.net
E-mail me any TASP related stuff.

Since this post is about you, I think if you don't get into Yale, there is something seriously wrong with the admissions process.

lol, thanks a lot. hmm...that lamb was supposed to be addressed to you guys...i mean, oops, i know nothing about this lamb you speak of.

see if your factota will tell you anything about cornell. our factota were necessarily vague, so i can't help much.

hope you have a good last week of TASP.

Hey, you're one of those humanities people! You have a great shot.

Hi audiophile!! Bleh, forget secrecy and e-mail, post juicy Cornell/burnt lamb doll details here (what was the deal with that?), so I can read too :D . What's life like in Austin? By the way, I'm another UMich TASPer.

i think you have a great chance. good luck!

Hope everyone is having a great final week of tasp (tear...=[ ). truthfully, it only seems like two weeks instead of six. thanks for everyone's comments. as far as cornell, i heard someone got kicked out. (but you didn't hear it on CC...or from a UT tasper...). we just got a present in the mail from the WashU tasp, which was followed by a lengthy conversation with the WashU factota, in which we totally proved that the UT tasp kicks all the other tasp's asses.

Life in Austin's been great. Our professors are totally cool, and the seminar's been really interesting. It's always hot here, which kinda sucks, but the town is just so open and inviting. There's a large number of homeless folk for the size of the town. Hmm...almost every public wall has some sort of mural on it. We've been to a few blues and a few texas-style music performances, which was pretty fun. How has Ann Arbor been? Both our factota are from UMich.

Yeah, a factotum here knows your factota, and has nothing nice to say, lol, (all joking of course.) Life here is very busy, but most people are really laid back making for a nice atmosphere. Ann Arbor is well, for lack of a less hackneyed word, hip. It's very hip. There's always something cool going on, so our artsiness has quadrupled since our arrival, lol. Beyond that, yes, it went very fast, but now we get to write apps, fun!

Oklahoma rocks!
Man I haven't been down in Norman in forever. Any other ppl from Norman North applying to Yale? There's like 4 or so ppl applying to Yale from OSSM.
Good Luck!

Yale chances - ECs are decent but there are inconsistencies in other stuff

What I'd recommend you do -
More community service: You have until when, November? Get cracking.
SATs: October & November are still available if you choose ED. Study and retake them. your SAT IIs are stable, it's time to pull up the Math section on the SAT I. I don't know if I'd recommend ACT, but some people do better. It's your choice.

SATs aren't everything, and even so yours are just fine (I say that partly because we got the same one! 2250: 800 Lit, 700 Math and 750 Writing. It's kind of strange because I want to go into Molecular Biology  ). I like that your ECs are so focused. Most people put up laundry lists of totally unrelated stuff that don't show any character, but you're going somewhere in life.

I'm applying SCEA to Yale too. I hope to see you there!
