If I was accepted and attended the Prologue to Bates do I have a better chance of getting accepted into Bates ED2? My test scores and grades are a bit below the average for acceptance into Bates but I have great extracurricular and the interview went really well.

That is great that you were accepted to the program and attended but to my knowledge it unfortunately does not give you much of an advantage in getting in.

Keep in mind when applying that Bates is test optional so you do not need to submit your test scores.

Yes, you have a decent chance. I know a lot of friends who did prologue who ended up getting accepted.

Being accepted into the Prologue and attending certainly will not count against you. The Prologue is mainly for students students of color or for students who are the first in their family to attend college. Colleges, especially small ones, put emphasis on these minority groups as they want to secure diversity. Bates in particular is looking to boost its numbers of minority groups, so this may work in your favor. Best of luck :)
