Is anyone aware of Bates College's preferred testing plan. It gives an option to submit SAT scores. Since my SAT scores aren't that great, I don't want to submit my SAT scores. I am an international student, so I prefer submitting my school grades instead. Would it hurt my chances of admission?
Thanks :)

you don’t have to worry about your SATs because about half of the students who are admitted didn’t send SAT scores last year. I am an international student myself. Best of Luck.
@Nizamikn Bates is one of the few colleges out there that is truly "holistic"in it’s approach to admission decisions. Its Test-Optional policy makes it perfect for people with high GPA’s and low scores on Standardized Tests. They will look at your EC’s, and (most importantly) the rigor of your high school curriculum. So if your school grades are great, you have decent EC’s and are taking the hardest classes possible at your school, then I say you have a good chance at getting in. Good luck!
