Syracuse University is literally my DREAM school and I just finished my sophomore year of high school and behold I got a D in my second semester of honors english. Right now my GPA is a 3.0 and I plan on taking way more AP classes in the future, but I don't really know if that will be enough. Most of my grades are B's because of some family issues starting ever since I started high school, but for the rest of the years I plan on trying way harder and joining more extracurriculars.

So far:
Current GPA: 3.0
I do colorguard and winterguard
I'm a member of my schools video announcements, DECA
I do plenty of volunteer work at the library, animal shelter, and zoo

I don't have much to offer, but I do want some advice on what to do, how many classes I should take, if I should get involved more, etc.
Please and thank you

take a breather , people get in with much lower stats , my advice to you would be do alot in high school volunteer places and join clubs . Taking courses that show your college ready find out about SU , everything visit the website visit every page obtain the information so you can write powerful supplements 2 yrs from now when you apply during you junior or senior year begin emailing them showing interest , interview though its not required its one more thing you have other than the other applicant & most of all visit the school fall receptions and spring receptions, ask questions by calling or emailing but the number one thing to remember is to relax … after you submit you application the wait is unbearable but you will find out & if you do get in congrats but if you don’t , just remember that everything happens for a reason and you could always transfer into syracuse from another college i wish you the best of luck your next 2 years of highschool
