I’m a international student so we don’t have a GPA.We only have grades from 1 to 10. We have to take a exact number of courses and we don’t have AP classes or school clubs.I do have a radio show and I am in the process of creating a school newspaper .What are my chances to get in these schools if I also need financial aid?

What about test scores? Are you a top student at your school? TOEFL score?
Test scores?
Average grades out of 10?
I am in the best class of my school and I am the fourth in my class(out of 28),but I am in the top 10-15% of the total students in the same year as me.My averege score was 9,46 last year and 9,35 this semester.I am studying for the Cambridge test and I won’t take the SAT’s or Toefel until after that.I already study for the SAT’s alone and I am working really hard to get better grades. I am in a mathematics-informatics class and it is pretty hard, since we have 15 courses completly different from each other.I am from Romania and I study at a German school,so that I have the german language as fist language(i am in the 10 grade)
Since you are in the 10th grade and do not have SAT/TOEFL scores, it really is very difficult to chance you. I would continue to work hard in getting top grades, look for EC’s with leadership positions and prep for the exams. At the end of your 11th year, come back and ask for a chancing again. You will also need to define how much FA you need.
Good Luck.
What grade is the end of high school in your country?
Thnk you! The end of high school is in the 12 grade.
If you want to get into the Ivy leagues,
To remove the reach label from these prospective colleges(meaning,to at least be considered competent enough to apply),you must have the following scores(unless you’ve won a bunch of international or national awards and Olympiads-in that case you don’t need to emphasise too much on your scores)
Sat I-2200-2300(minimum-out of 2400)
Sat II-2200-2300(minimum-out of 2400)
Toefl-105-110(minimum-out of 120)
Grades-rank in the top 1% in your class/school.
Try forming a few clubs yourself, participate in philanthropic initiatives outside of school and find a local university to conduct research at(if the STEM fields are what you’re interested in).
