What college at CMU? And UPenn or Penn State?

College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CMU (Creative Writing Major)
UPenn Early Decision (I'll know in 8 days anyway, so give your prediction a shot)

bump this one up.

Might want to lok at Holy Cross or Trinity.

Penn - Deffered
Sarah Lawrence - pretty much in (they need males)
CMU - match
Lafayette - match

any reason i'd be deferred at penn other than a low math score? i think that's the only thing that would even have a ghost of a chance of keeping me out. other than that i think i'm a pretty solid candidate. and even with a relatively low math score, will that keep me out of the running for Penn ED entirely?

basically, yes.

so despite a slew of other good factors to consider (including penn faculty recs), penn would defer/reject me due to one subpar math score (even though 4% of kids that Penn admits have that score)?

those 4% are athletes and minorities...
