chances at all for Stanford?

<p>I'm anxious about Stanford. From what I hear, it is an amazing school with bright, well-rounded people. Plus the weather is nice. </p>

AP's all 5's in BC, Physics C, English Language, US History, Euro, Statistics, Biology</p>

<p>GPA 4.67 weighted, 4.0 unweighted (hardest workload)
11AP's, top 5% (no ranking)</p>

<p>Awards: National Merit Commended (whatever that is), AP Scholar with Distinctions, Wrestling medals, various math awards, orchestra awards, etc...</p>

Engineering Research with Caltech professor
Heal the Bay Water Chemistry Volunteer
Church Finding Jesus program co-founder and VP
V Wrestling (I love Wrestling!), V Track/Field, Founder and President of Sports Club

<p>why do people with perfect scores always ask their chances? its obvious they've got some chance with a good GPA and perfect SATs.....</p>

<p>yeah but im sayin hes asking if he has chances at all. It's obvious you'll have a chance with the academics hes got.....though as you said none of the top colleges are 100%</p>

<p>Ashveer.. Where did you hear that? I went to a Stanford info session Monday night and the admissions officer said they rejected 30% of the 1600's they received this past year, meaning they accepted 70%. Not bad at all! Where did you hear they reject over half?</p>

<p>What school district are you in. The school district I'm in is the 2nd best in California (since you did research @ Caltech), so you might actually go to my school!</p>
