chances at all the UC colleges

<p>So my overall 10-11 gpa is 3.08.
I would have had a higher junior year gpa, but due to a personal loss my gpa went straight doen from a 3.6 to a 3.08 weighted. However im gon a writr about the loss and itd effect on my grades in my extra comment section.</p>

<p>-3 yrs varsity tennis
-19 th place in 2011 chess state championship, 12 place the following year.
- internship at ucla, over 100 volunteer hours especially volunteering in chess tournamnets and i helped rebuild houses for poor for 13 hours straight.
- teach tennis and chess and tutor kids for a part time job constantly.</p>

how is your class rigor? ap/ib scores?</p>

<p>Is that a UCGPA or fully weighted? UC’s weight GPA higher than other factors. I’d say you have a shot at UC’s like UCSC, UCR, or UCM but your GPA is a barrier for the other UC’s. </p>

<p>But you have great EC’s. Depending on your major I would consider CSU’s. Good luck!</p>

<p>My major would be cell biology, and BTW I took 5 weighted. 4 my junior year, where I had the worst GPA due to the loss.</p>
