Chances at Boston University?

<p>I was wondering what my chances are at getting into Boston University.</p>

<p>I am a senior, 5th in my class of somewhere around 200 students and have a 4.5 gpa. However, my SAT's are only right around 1200 and my SAT's are really low compared to others that I have seen on this site. Writing was only 550 and and Math IC 590.
I have taken AP Biology and AP Calculus, the rest are mostly honors level classes.
I have great teacher recs and resume.
Obviously, BU is my reach school, but I am absolutley in love it. </p>

<p>Also, does anyone know how the College of General Studies there is viewed?</p>

<p>You have a very good chance. I'd say you'd most likely get in. The people on this website are over achievers that usually have nothing to do but brag and be arrogant. Like the typical "Oh no! I only got 1590.. I guess I'll have to retake or settle with Stanford."</p>

<p>I mean if you're going for scholarships for Boston, than it looks pretty bleak.... but you should be fine. Your GPA and rank are nice.... although I don't know what scale your school uses to determine GPA...</p>
