Chances at Boston University

What are my chances of getting into Boston University?

GPA: 3.5

ACT 1st attempt: 23
ACT 2nd attempt: 23
ACT 3rd attempt: October 25th

SAT: Do not know scores yet

Other information: I'm applying for Early Decision, my mom went there, and I'm from Utah.

Thanks

yo i think you got a decent chane..i think im applying there but i did a little better than you...but keep up ur gpa and extra curriculars and you should be fine...goodluck man

Thanks bro. I know I can get a better ACT score too, I'll just keep taking it.

Any other thoughts guys?

i think you have a very good chance
just get that ACT score up to 26+ and i think you'll get in

Thanks for the input Blinkstar. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Sorry to be obnoxious and bump this, but I wouldn't mind getting a few more opinions. Thanks.

Oh! One more thing.. On my ACT I've taken it twice and have gotten the same score, however I did better on different parts each time. If you took my best from each catagory I would have...
25 English
25 Math
25 Reading
23 Science
23 Writing
That would make a higher composite score, my question is.. Do the colleges see that? does it help me?

Thanks

IMPORTANT!

I just got my SAT scores today. I got a 1690.
580 Reading
600 Math
510 Writing

Does it help my chances?

SAT's dont really help your chance.

Is your GPA weighted or UW?

SAT's a bit low...retake?

My GPA is unweighted. I probably will take the SAT again.

BUMP

I wouldn't mind more opinions and an answer to my question above.

here's me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/580544-new-gpa-scores-georgia-tech-i-ll-chance-you-back-i-swear.html

and it depends on the college for your Q

thanks.. I would chance you but I have no idea what a school like Georgia Tech wants. Sorry bro.

your gpa is fine....but your act has to be at least 26+ stand a chance....trust me I've done research...these people are just ********tin cuz they want you to chance them

Could you give us info on ECs and what not?

hmmm. Ok, can I get some more opinions please? To take tsh1226's advice, can you only contribute if you know what you're talking about? thanks. I still have no answer to my ACT question posted earlier.

Check BU's website to see if they superscore ACTs and SATs. It's different for each college. I think they do, but I'm not sure at all. I think all of us would be able to give you a much more realistic answer if you gave us information on all of your extracurriculars since that's a huge part of what BU takes into consideration.

I didn't see your post Millerl1te. Here are some of my ECs

-School trip to Europe with my AP art history class.
-Community service with the American Hiking Society.
-I am an award winning animator.
-Former member of a local ski team.
-I went to a camp at stanford called Super Camp.

Hey Millerl1te, I checked and BU does not accept superscores. Thanks for the advice, I posted a list of ECs.
